Weekly: Book News

I'm going to keep this as short as possible because I'm tired. I live in the United States. It's been a long week. There's some book news, some schedule news. This stuff is interesting if you are interested in some release schedule changes.

Streak: 4 weeks of Saturday blogs. I almost didn't do one this week.

November is NaNoWriMo. It's an event where people trying to write 50k in a novel or an entire novel or something. I decided to use it as motivation this year. I've already written a novella about Zuri from the Tribunal Archives. There's no release for it yet, but I think you'll all be excited for it when I have more information. Next I'm going to jump into Jacky Leon 5 to continue trying to reach that 50k goal and blow past it. I know I can.

Speaking of Jacky Leon 5... Tomorrow, there's going to be a preorder and cover reveal. I know it's taken a month and a half to get to this. I'm sorry.

It's been a trying year.

Now onto this scheduling stuff. All of my series I have desperately tried to release on a 4 month schedule. I'm not going to try that anymore. I'm rolling it out to 5 months to have more wiggle room without feeling terrible. So, a series that releases in January with release again in 5 months in June.

Now, if next year isn't... you know, 2020 pt2, this should work out really well. I'll feel more comfortable getting up preorders ASAP and a lot of other behind the scenes things will get easier. And, even better? If I maintain and don't want to collapse, I might be able to write more novellas and possibly standalone novels for secondary characters in the Tribunal Archives world. I really want to. There's so much I want to do in this world (11 full series between 3-12 books a piece, and however many novellas and standalone books I can possibly do because I wanna.)

That's all I've got. No art, no designs, no fun things. It's been a long week. I hope you love the book news and are excited for tomorrow. Have a great weekend.
